Spaceful welcomed the Bendelta NSW team for an interactive session exploring how workplaces can create greater value for employees and clients. Led by Design Director Michael Spinoglio, the session encouraged new thinking about workplace experience, engagement and performance.

For many businesses, conversations about workplace performance start with how much space they have and how often it’s being used. But there’s another question worth asking: what experiences could the workplace create that would give people more reasons to use it?

It’s something we recently explored when we welcomed our neighbours, Bendelta, into our Sydney studio for an interactive workplace session led by Design Director, Michael Spinoglio.

With a shared focus on people, culture and performance, the session combined Spaceful’s workplace design expertise and Bendelta’s understanding of organisational effectiveness to explore new possibilities for employees and clients.

“What’s valuable about an exercise like this is the opportunity to challenge assumptions about how a workplace is used. Bringing different perspectives into the conversation can uncover opportunities to get more from the space, particularly when you consider the needs of both employees and clients.”

Turning workplace potential into business value

For businesses, getting more from their workplace isn’t necessarily about increasing attendance. It’s about creating the right conditions for people to collaborate, build relationships, engage with clients and do their best work.

The Bendelta session demonstrated the value of involving employees in these conversations and challenging assumptions about how space should be used.

“Our team loved exploring our neighbour Spaceful’s inspiring office and left with a stronger sense of what our own space could unlock for our clients. Michael encouraged us to see fresh possibilities in the environment we create and how we use it to deepen learning, strengthen relationships and make client experiences even more memorable.”

— Ari Guha NSW Co-Lead, Bendelta

For organisations planning their next workplace, these conversations can help clarify what the business needs from its space before major property and design decisions are made. The result is a stronger foundation for a workplace that supports employees, clients and longer-term business goals.
