Respecting our nation’s heritage

Spaceful acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our company is located and where we conduct our business. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

Spaceful is committed to honouring Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and seas and their rich contribution to society.

As a business with a tangible connection to land, it is our responsibility to listen to, learn from and amplify the First Nations voices all around us to ensure our activities support the continuing connection to land, waters, cultures, languages and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We recognise that reconciliation is the responsibility of all Australians, requiring the community to recognise and respect the First Peoples of this land, to acknowledge the past injustices, and the ongoing imbalances experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples since colonisation, and to commit to working towards a more equal and respectful future.

We look forward to contributing to this important journey of healing and reconciliation by working with individuals, communities and organisations to contribute towards building stronger relationships with, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Climate Active is a partnership between the Australian Government and Australian businesses to drive voluntary climate action and is the most rigorous and credible carbon neutral certification available.

By being Climate Active Carbon Neutral Certified we give our customers and partners the assurance that our services are carbon neutral and the certainty that partnering with Spaceful enables them to achieve their own sustainability objectives.

To ensure the accuracy and completeness of our carbon calculations, Spaceful has conducted a thorough source data audit using a licenced third-party auditor and has committed to periodic technical assessments of our carbon neutral claim.

Responsible supply chain operations

Spaceful is committed to acting responsibly and ethically in our operations. As a national design and delivery firm creating spaces that empower people to do their best work, we believe it is our responsibility to ensure the dignity and rights of our employees and the people in our supply chain.

We are committed to equal and absolute rights to freedom, justice, and decent working conditions. Spaceful does not tolerate any form of modern slavery, including but not limited to forced labour, human trafficking, child labour, and debt bondage, in any part of our business operations or supply chain.

We mandate our business partners, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to fully adhere to this stance and actively work to assess, mitigate and prevent all forms of modern slavery linked to their services or products in a transparent and proactive manner.
