Did you know that the Philips Lighting Company is now officially known as Signify? Following its initial public offering in 2016, the lighting division has expanded into a 6.7-billion-dollar company.
Spaceful had the pleasure of visiting Signify’s Customer Experience Hub in Singapore. During our visit, we experienced an incredible demonstration of lighting solutions and discovered that ‘light’ is so much more than what we see.
Upon entering the space, one is guided into a fully reconstructed hotel room, where the lighting system not only provides an interchangeable atmosphere but also includes an interconnected system capable of opening and closing curtains based on voice commands and adjusting the temperature without any manual effort. They even highlighted the ability to flush toilets remotely.
Another display of solar-powered street lighting and the simulation of an actual road tunnel was also very impressive. Our focus, however, was to explore the latest lighting solutions for workplace environments. How can we leverage lighting to enhance employee experiences beyond mere visual impact?
