Unlimited: An Exploration of Future Workplace Innovation

Guests had the opportunity to explore the Experience Centre, where innovative and sustainable companies HP | Poly, Signify, DEFY, Spacesuit&Co., Sprout Coffee and Eco Renewable Energy showcased cutting edge workplace solutions. Futurist, change strategist and author, Michael McQueen, delivered a fascinating keynote presentation on the changing nature of work and the generational shift we’re seeing in the workplace, and how both of these elements impact people and culture strategies, the workplace in general, and how best to prepare for these changes.

Guests also enjoyed a panel discussion and Q&A session with some of Australia’s most forward-thinking workplace experts; Matthew Nolan, Head of Workplace at Aware Super, Janna McCann, Head of Innovation at AstraZeneca, Mark Cohen, VP of Product APAC at MRI Software and Tica Masuku, Workplace Strategy Director at Spaceful.

The panellists discussed the following topics:

01. Future Workplace Innovation – how to best leverage technology and AI, as well as creating a culture of innovation

02. Engaging Spaces – key elements of an engaging workspace to harness productivity and boost well-being, as well as support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

03. The Next Big Shift in Work – predictions for the concept of ‘work’ itself. The biggest challenges and opportunities presented by the changing nature of work and how to prepare the workforce for the next big shift.

Unlimited sparked fresh insights into workplace design and utilisation, prompting us to consider the future of work and the impact of elements, such as AI and the evolving generational landscape. By harnessing new and emerging technologies in conjunction with innovative people-centric workplace strategies, organisations can develop the most efficient and appealing work environments for employees.
